Our mission
RoutesBase is a service for people who travel consciously.
We created RoutesBase because we constantly faced the same problem: planning a trip turns into a chaos of notes, tabs, links, maps, and screenshots.
Our mission is to unite routes, experience, and live advice from people in one place to make travel easier, clearer, and more honest.
RoutesBase is not about perfect trips. It's about real roads, real solutions, and real experience.
What is RoutesBase
RoutesBase is a platform where you can:

- 🗺️plan the whole route: transportation, accommodation, cities, places, and notes
- 👥Publish routes publicly and share them with others
- 🧭explore routes created by other people, enriching them with comments and experience
- 💬leave reviews and tips for tickets, accommodation, places, and guides
Each route is a living document that can evolve over time.

We are a non—profit project
RoutesBase was not initially created for profit.
This is a personal project of a traveler that has grown into an idea of community. We do not sell tickets, do not impose partners and do not promote hidden advertising.
Our goal is benefit, trust and long-term value, not quick money.
Possible methods of monetization (if and when they appear) will be secondary and will never affect the integrity of the content.
Future plans
We want to develop RoutesBase gradually and carefully:

- 🔹add alternative modes of transportation (hikes, private carriers)
- 🔹enable people to share accommodation and hospitality

All new features will appear only if they reinforce the project's values.

My name is Ilia Loviagin.
I am a traveler and a person who has always planned trips on my own.
RoutesBase began as my personal tool - a way to collect routes, save experiences and not lose important details between trips.
Over time, I realized that many people were facing this problem, and decided to open the project to other people.
RoutesBase is not a startup invented in a vacuum, but a service that I myself use and which I continue to develop as a user.
I believe that the best route is the one that has a person's lived experience behind it.
